A Parent's Art Review

I don't know how to feel about this particular piece. I call it "Cityscape with car, sun, and cloud"; the medium is "bedroom door":

Yep, I second the Magic Eraser, works wonders!

This reminds me of my son... #2, he is very artistic and draws on everything, unfortunately Our house is mid-renovation so our walls are Sheetrock... bare... Can't wash it... We have cute little men on the wall in the dining room, and in our entry way he wrote "I lov u giz" which is 6 year old speak for "I love you guys" lol

I work in a gallery; and we would call that "crayon on panel" stunning!

Thanks for this post.

It's important to keep a sense of humor about this sort of stuff (I tend to forget that on occasion).

Oh goodness, I'm afraid the days of colorful art on our walls will soon be approaching!

Well, the removal of the mural may count as a performance art piece...

i love love LOVE this. i'm hoping that when m starts scribbling on the walls, that i'll be chill enough to just go with it and let her define her space. (i'll probably ask that she not draw in the living room, dining room, etc... but the bedroom can be her domain.)

still, i realize all of this is in theory since she hasn't reached that 'milestone.'
